Drive with LimousineCanada.ca

LimousineCanada.ca books chauffeured transfers at Canadian airports, private-jet FBOs, cruise terminals and railway stations, and hourly service for weddings, roadshows and events in between. We work with three kinds of partners: owner-operators who drive their own licensed vehicle, fleet operators who run a limousine or chauffeur company, and chauffeurs who hold the licences but not a vehicle. This page explains what each needs, which documents to upload and how onboarding works. The registration form is at the bottom of the page.

Who we are looking for

Our clients are business travellers, families with luggage, wedding parties, cruise passengers and private-jet guests. They book because they expect the right vehicle, at the right door, at the agreed fare. Partners succeed here when they are punctual to the minute, keep a spotless late-model vehicle, know the pickup rules at their airports and stations, and communicate before the client has to ask.

  • Owner-operators: one vehicle, you drive it, you hold the commercial insurance and the licences your city requires.
  • Fleet operators: two or more vehicles and drivers, a dispatch contact, and the operator licences and fleet insurance your province requires.
  • Chauffeurs: a clean driving record, a professional appearance and the vehicle-for-hire licence where your city requires one; we match you with partner vehicles.

Vehicle standards

Every vehicle offered to a LimousineCanada.ca client must be 2022 or newer (four model years), in every class: sedan, SUV, Sprinter, van, stretch, mini-coach and coach. The only exception is the top luxury tier: Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach are accepted from 2019 (seven model years). Vehicles should be black or a dark colour for sedans and SUVs, with a clean, odour-free interior, working climate control on both rows, and no roof signs or advertising.

Licensing and insurance, province by province

Passenger transport is regulated by provinces and, for limousines and vehicles-for-hire, often by the city as well. Requirements differ: some cities license limousine drivers and operators directly, airports issue their own ground-transportation permits, Ontario requires a Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) for vehicles designed for ten or more passengers, and other provinces apply the National Safety Code to commercial passenger vehicles. Upload whatever your province, city and airports require you to hold. If you are unsure, tell us in the message box and we will advise before you spend money on a permit.

Insurance must be a commercial passenger-vehicle policy that names the vehicle and covers carrying passengers for compensation; a personal policy, or a ride-share endorsement intended for app driving, does not qualify. State the liability limit in the form. Many municipal and airport regimes set their own minimums, commonly in the millions of dollars, and your policy must meet the highest one that applies where you work.

How onboarding works

  1. Register below and upload your documents. You receive an email confirming the reference number.
  2. Verification. We check every licence, the insurance and the vehicle against the documents, normally within three to five working days.
  3. Onboarding call. We walk through dispatch, the pickup procedures at your airports, stations and cruise terminals, our service standards and the client app.
  4. Vehicle check. For owner-operators and fleets, a short in-person or video inspection of each vehicle.
  5. First trips. Offers arrive through dispatch with the fare, the pickup instructions and the client's notes.

Service standards we hold every partner to

  • On location 15 minutes before a residence or hotel pickup; at the airport, positioned at the pre-arranged zone when the flight lands.
  • Dark suit, white or light shirt, tie for corporate and wedding work.
  • Flight, train and ship tracking checked before leaving for the pickup.
  • Water in the rear seat, phone chargers, and luggage loaded by the chauffeur.
  • No smoking or vaping in the vehicle at any time, and no personal passengers.
  • Our cancellation policy applies to clients; partners are told immediately when a trip changes.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a fee to register?

No. Registration and document verification are free.

How old can my vehicle be?

2022 or newer for every class. Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach are accepted from 2019.

My city does not license limousine drivers. What do I upload?

Upload your provincial driver's licence, driver abstract, police check, ownership, insurance and inspection. Leave the vehicle-for-hire licence box empty and say so in the message.

What file types can I upload?
