A Toronto airport to Niagara Falls limo is the simplest way to put the Falls in your first afternoon in Ontario. Your chauffeur meets you after landing at Pearson, loads the bags and drives the QEW south and west to the Falls, about 130 km and usually 90 minutes to two hours. There is no timetable to catch, no change at Union Station and no luggage to carry up the steps of a train.
It is not the only way to get there, and it is not the cheapest. This page lays out every realistic option for the Pearson to Niagara Falls trip, with costs, times and a plain view of who each one suits. Where the train is the better choice, we say so.
Toronto airport to Niagara Falls: every option compared
The table compares the main ways to make the trip. Private-car fares are our published rate card applied to about 130 km; the public-transit prices come from Niagara Parks, and all other figures should be confirmed with the operator on the day.
| Option | Cost | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan with chauffeur | $605 to $720 for the car | About 1 h 30 to 2 h | 1 to 3 people, door to door |
| Luxury SUV with chauffeur | $760 to $915 for the car | About 1 h 30 to 2 h | Families, 4 to 6 people, ski or golf bags |
| Executive Sprinter with chauffeur | $1,070 to $1,285 for the van | About 1 h 30 to 2 h | Groups of 8 to 14 |
| UP Express plus GO train | GO+WEGO round trips from $22 per person | Over 3 hours, door to station | Solo travellers with light bags |
| Taxi or rideshare | Metered or variable, not fixed in advance | Similar to a car if the driver accepts | Spur-of-the-moment trips |
| Rental car | Day rate, fuel, insurance, Falls parking | About 1 h 30 to 2 h at the wheel | Confident drivers staying several days |
The UP Express and GO combination is far cheaper per person, and for a solo traveller carrying one backpack it is a sensible choice. It is slower, involves a transfer at Union Station and ends at the Niagara Falls GO station rather than your hotel door. For three or more people with luggage, or for anyone arriving tired from a long flight, the private car narrows the price gap and removes the effort.
How far is Niagara Falls from Toronto Pearson, and how long does it take?

Niagara Falls is about 130 km from Toronto Pearson. The drive takes roughly 90 minutes to two hours on the QEW, depending on traffic through Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington. Morning and late-afternoon peaks add the most time. The QEW itself carries no toll.
The distance varies slightly with where you stop in Niagara Falls, so treat 130 km as the planning figure. The online booker uses your exact address, so the fare reflects the real distance.
Traffic is the main variable. A midday flight landing on a Tuesday is a straightforward run, while a Friday evening in July can add 30 minutes or more at the Burlington Skyway and the Niagara approaches. If you land at a busy hour, ask for the earlier pickup window rather than leaving at the last moment.
Fares from Pearson to Niagara Falls by vehicle
Fares below are before tax, for about 130 km, and exclude gratuity. The per-person lines divide the car's fare evenly across a full load.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Bags | Fare for the car | Per person, full car |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | up to 3 | 2 large and 2 carry-on | $605 to $720 | about $200 to $240 |
| Luxury SUV | up to 6 | 5 to 6 large | $760 to $915 | about $125 to $155 |
| Executive Sprinter | 12 to 14 | 12 or more | $1,070 to $1,285 | about $75 to $105 |
Flight tracking is included, with 60 minutes of free waiting after an international landing and 30 minutes after a domestic one. An optional name-board meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall is $100 to $150. The rates page has the full rate card, and the booker gives the exact all-in fare for your address.
The route: QEW, the Skyways and where traffic builds
The route runs from the airport onto the 427 or 401 to the QEW and then follows Lake Ontario to Burlington. The Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway lifts the highway over the harbour entrance, and further on, the Garden City Skyway crosses the Welland Canal at St. Catharines. The QEW then continues to the Niagara Falls turn-off.

Peak-hour traffic builds in two places. The first is the Mississauga to Burlington stretch, where commuters add to the weekend cottage and Niagara traffic. The second is the approach to the Falls in summer, when Clifton Hill and the main streets fill with day-trippers.
The QEW is the normal choice. The 407 ETR is a toll alternative around Toronto, any toll is charged at cost, and the chauffeur will adjust the route if there is a closure on the day.
Meeting your chauffeur at Pearson
Pearson has more than one terminal, and your instructions depend on where you land. The UP Express station is at Terminal 1, and passengers landing at Terminal 3 reach it on the Link Train, a ride of about two minutes, according to the UP Express guide for travellers from Pearson to Niagara Falls.
After you land, your chauffeur tracks the flight and waits. We send the exact meeting instructions for your terminal in the confirmation. If you have added the meet-and-greet, the chauffeur holds a name board in the arrivals hall; otherwise you will be told where to find the car.
For a first visit, the Pearson airport limo page describes how our airport pickups work and how long we wait. Business aviation passengers arriving at the private terminals should see the Toronto Pearson FBO page.
Arriving at the Falls
Where the car stops depends on your plan. Table Rock Centre sits at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls and is the hub where Niagara Parks' two WEGO bus lines meet, so a drop-off near there puts you in the middle of the main sights. Hotels in the Fallsview area have their own entrances, and the chauffeur will use the front drive or the porte-cochère where the hotel allows.

Think about what you will do first. If you are going straight to a boat ride or the walkway behind the falls, ask the chauffeur to drop you at the attraction and carry on with the bags to the hotel. If you want to freshen up, go to the hotel first. Both are routine requests.
Our Niagara Falls day trip guide is the place to plan the sights once you arrive, and the Niagara Falls limo page covers local transfers, weddings and wine tours.
The UP Express and GO train in detail
If the budget matters more than the time, this is the route to know. At Pearson, board the UP Express at the Terminal 1 station; the ride to Union Station takes 28 minutes. From Terminal 3, take the Link Train to Terminal 1 first. At Union Station, connect to a GO train or bus bound for Niagara.
According to Niagara Parks, the Niagara GO train runs direct from Union Station to the Niagara Falls GO station in the city, and its schedule now runs year-round. You can board at Union or Exhibition, Port Credit, Oakville or Burlington, and parking at Port Credit, Oakville and Burlington is free but first-come, first-served. GO describes the Niagara Falls service as available seven days a week.
The GO and WEGO combination includes a hop-on, hop-off bus from the station. Niagara Parks lists round trips from $22, a weekday one-day pass at $34 and a weekend one-day pass at $22, and the GO page confirms children 12 and under travel free on GO Transit. Fares change, so confirm them on the day you book. GO Transit's Niagara Falls page has the current details.
When the train is the better choice
The train is the right choice more often than a limo operator likes to admit. A solo traveller or a couple with two small bags will save well over $500 each way against a sedan fare. If you are staying near the Niagara Falls GO station, or planning to use the WEGO bus to move around the Falls, the transit option works well.

The train is also reasonable if you are in no hurry and plan to travel in the middle of the day on a weekend. Check the timetable before you book your flight, since train frequency is much lower than a highway journey and a missed connection can cost an hour.
The private car is the better choice when the party is three or more, when the bags are heavy, when children are tired, when your flight lands late in the evening or when your hotel is not near the station. It is also the right choice if you want the freedom to stop at a winery or a viewpoint on the way.
A day trip from Pearson: wait or return?
Many visitors land in Toronto in the morning and want the Falls the same day. You have two ways to book it. A one-way transfer takes you to the Falls and a second transfer brings you back, with the car not waiting. Or you can book an hourly chauffeur who waits and drives you back.
For an eight-hour day, a Luxury SUV costs $1,400 to $1,680, according to the hourly rate card, and an Executive Sedan costs $1,080 to $1,320. That includes the drive each way, which is about 3 to 4 hours of the eight, and leaves four to five hours at the Falls. The hourly chauffeur page explains the clock and the minimums.
If you will spend most of the day inside attractions, two one-way transfers are usually cheaper than a full block of hours. Describe the plan when you book and we will tell you which works out cheaper.
Groups, luggage and the Sprinter
A group of ten arriving for a wedding weekend has a different problem from a couple. Ten people with ten bags need one vehicle that can hold them together, and the Executive Sprinter seats 12 to 14 with 12 or more bags. At $1,070 to $1,285 for the trip, that is under $130 per person for a group of ten, door to door. The Sprinter van rental page covers seating and bags.
For families with ski or golf bags, or with two strollers, a Luxury SUV carries more than three people usually think. It seats six with five or six large bags, and child seats are free when requested at booking.
Winter, icewine and Niagara in every season
Niagara is a four-season destination. The Niagara Icewine Festival brings visitors in January; see the Niagara Icewine Festival guide for the event. Summer weekends are the busiest time for road traffic, and winter storms can slow the QEW.
Build a buffer in January and February, particularly if you are catching an evening flight home. We plan winter pickups with extra time, and the chauffeur will tell you if conditions change the plan.
For a wine-country extension, the Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries guide and the Shaw Festival guide show how a day in the town connects to the Falls.
Crossing to the American side
The Rainbow Bridge links Niagara Falls, Ontario to Niagara Falls, New York. The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission operates the Rainbow, Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston bridges, and its bridge page shows hourly updated wait information for each. A passport or equivalent trusted-traveller card is required for the crossing.
If your onward flight is from Buffalo, see the Toronto to Buffalo airport page and the cross-border limo page. If you land at Hamilton rather than Pearson, the Hamilton airport page describes that route.
Booking your Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer
Enter the flight number, the terminal if you know it, and the hotel or address in Niagara Falls. The booker returns the fare for the vehicle you choose and lets you add a return.
Add a note if you want to go to an attraction first, stop for lunch or collect another guest. For a larger party, add the head count so the booker suggests the right vehicle. The confirmation names your chauffeur ahead of the pickup.
