A Royal Agricultural Winter Fair limo suits a fair that mixes livestock barns, butter sculptures and an evening of international show jumping. By day it is a family outing with strollers and sticky hands. By night, depending on your ticket, it can be a black-tie dinner. The same grounds, Exhibition Place, host both, and a chauffeured car handles each version differently.
This guide covers the usual November dates, what is on offer, the practical numbers from the fair's own visitor page, and the fare from Pearson, Union Station and downtown hotels. Prices are ranges in Canadian dollars before tax.
When is the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair?
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is held every November at Exhibition Place in Toronto. The 2026 edition ran from November 6 to 15, its 104th year, and the 2025 edition from November 7 to 16. Dates for 2027 had not been posted when we checked, so confirm them at royalfair.org.
The fair's own site says it runs every November in Toronto, and the 2026 hours on the Plan a Visit page were 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday. The visitor page notes that its list of Sunday and Monday dates did not match the weekday hours in one place, so check the exact days before you go.
What the Royal is, and what is on at the fair
The Royal is a mix of agriculture, food and sport. Its attractions page lists the Animal Theatre, the Dairy Education Centre, an entertainment stage, the Royal Rodeos, a chef's table, butter sculpting contests, a farm and play zone, an education symposium and farm-to-table demonstrations. There are also competitions between farmers and first responders, which is the sort of detail that makes a family day memorable.

The fair is spread across the grounds rather than packed into one hall, so plan on walking between buildings. Exhibition Place lists the Enercare Centre, the Automotive Building, the Better Living Centre, the Queen Elizabeth Building, Bandshell Park and StudioEx among its venues.
The Royal Horse Show
The headline evening event is the Royal Horse Show, billed by the fair as the number one indoor equestrian event in North America. It takes place at the Coca-Cola Coliseum, which the fair says has a capacity of 6,600 for the show. Horse Show tickets are sold separately through Ticketmaster and include same-day general admission to the fair.
Seating, session times and dress vary by night and ticket, so read the schedule for your date. The key planning point for a chauffeur is the end of the evening: thousands of people leave the Coliseum at the same moment, and the first-come curb disappears fast.
Tickets, hours and the rules to know
The fair's visitor page sets out several rules that affect planning:

- Tickets are final sale with no refunds or exchanges, and each is valid for one day only.
- General admission is sold online through the fair's ticketing partner, with a separate link for the Horse Show.
- Gate purchases accept Visa, MasterCard, debit and cash in Canadian funds.
- Strollers and wagons are allowed, with exceptions such as the Horse Palace Ramp and the Animal Theatre seating area.
- Pets are not allowed. Only service animals are permitted.
An Access 2 card gives one free general admission ticket for a support person, who must be present at the time of purchase. Mobility rentals were listed as coming soon, so confirm before you travel.
Royal Agricultural Winter Fair limo from Pearson
Pearson to Exhibition Place is about 27 kilometres, a drive of roughly 30 minutes without traffic. On a fair weekday evening or a Saturday, the Gardiner and Lake Shore can be slow, so book the pickup with a buffer. At the rate card this distance is a minimum transfer:
| Vehicle | Pearson to Exhibition Place (27 km, about 30 min without traffic) |
|---|---|
| Executive Sedan (3 passengers) | $145–$175 |
| Luxury SUV (6 passengers) | $180–$220 |
| Executive Sprinter (12–14 passengers) | $295–$355 |
Fares exclude tax and gratuity. Flight tracking is included, and the first hour after an international landing and the first half hour after a domestic one carry no waiting charge. If you want someone holding a name board inside the arrivals hall, that costs $100–$150 extra. Our Pearson airport limo page walks through the terminals.
From Union Station, Billy Bishop and downtown hotels
Exhibition Place is close to the downtown core. Union Station is about 4.6 kilometres away and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport about 2.9 kilometres, each roughly seven minutes without traffic. Both sit under the minimum transfer, so the sedan fare is the same flat $145–$175 as the airport run. See our Union Station page and Billy Bishop airport page for the curb details.

The fair's visitor page mentions that guests of one downtown hotel receive a complimentary shuttle every 20 minutes at set times, and that taxis are available at all main entrances. A private car is the alternative when you want a fixed time, a fixed fare and a driver who knows where you will be collected.
Where a car can stop at Exhibition Place
The visitor page describes taxis at the main entrances but does not describe a dedicated drop-off zone, and the grounds are large. We agree the entrance with you in advance, based on which building you are visiting. For the Horse Show, that is the Coliseum side, and for the main fair it is the Enercare Centre side.
On departure, pick a meeting point a short walk from the building rather than at the door, because the doorway crowds are the problem. A chauffeur can hold the car at the agreed corner and message you when it is in position. Our Toronto limo service page explains how city pickups work.
Black-tie nights and VIP evenings
The Royal's Platinum and Gold VIP tickets come with a dress code. On the 2026 visitor page, the code was smart casual or business casual on November 6 to 10 and black tie on November 11 to 14. That makes the later evenings a classic case for a chauffeured arrival: gowns and tuxedos do not do well on streetcars.

For an evening out, hourly service gives you a car held at a fixed point. Hourly pricing starts at $135–$165 for an Executive Sedan and $175–$210 for a Luxury SUV, both with a two-hour minimum. A four-hour evening is $540–$660 in a sedan or $700–$840 in an SUV, before tax. The online booker shows how the hours are counted for your itinerary.
Two sample plans: a family day and a Horse Show evening
The first is a family day.
Take a family of four staying downtown for a Saturday visit. The morning begins with a short ride from the hotel, about seven minutes from Union Station on an empty road, so the pickup can be as late as 9 a.m. for a 9:30 arrival. The family spends the day moving between the barns, the entertainment stage and the food areas, and breaks for lunch inside the grounds.
By late afternoon, the children are tired and the weather has turned. A car that was booked for a fixed time sits at an agreed corner, avoiding the queue of strangers at the main gate. The fare for the round trip is two minimum transfers, each $145–$175 in a sedan or $180–$220 in an SUV.
The second is an evening out. For a couple attending the Horse Show on a black-tie night, the plan changes. The car collects you at the hotel about an hour before the doors, drives to the Coliseum side and drops you close to the entrance. The chauffeur then waits nearby, or leaves and returns, depending on whether you booked hourly service or two single transfers.
Ask the venue about the end time, and tell us. Show jumping can run late, and a car held on the hourly rate is easy to extend. For a late finish, we pre-arrange the pickup corner, and message you when the car is in position. If the weather turns, a waiting car beats a cold half hour on a kerb.
Parking costs, and what the car replaces
Parking at Exhibition Place for the 2026 fair was $18 per day or $15 after 6 p.m., with indoor lots costing $3 more on peak days, according to the visitor page. The page warns that parking is not guaranteed and recommends arriving early. The grounds list 1,280 on-site spaces at the Enercare Centre alone.
For one driver, that is very cheap. A car and driver cost more but replace the parking search, the walk across a dark lot and the post-event queue to exit. For a family of five with a stroller, or a couple in evening clothes, those are the real costs. The limo rates page lists every hourly figure.
Families, accessibility and what to wear
The Royal is family friendly, with animals and hands-on exhibits. Child seats are free when requested at booking, so tell us how many and what ages. A Luxury SUV seats six passengers with five to six large bags, which suits a family with a stroller and daypacks.
For accessibility, the visitor page lists 88 accessible parking spaces, an Access 2 card and information on assisted tours through a partner farm. Tell us at booking if a passenger uses a wheelchair or walker, and we will match the vehicle and the drop-off point.
Toronto in November is cold, wet or both. The barns are warm and the walks between buildings are not, so layers matter. Waterproof footwear helps on the grounds, and a hat and gloves are sensible. For the black-tie evenings, plan a coat that travels well in a car.
GO, TTC, parking or a private car: how they compare
For a daytime visit, public transit is easy and cheap. The fair recommends Exhibition GO Station on the Lakeshore West line, with trains roughly every 30 minutes, and mentions combo passes bundling GO fare with admission. A single rider paid $38 and a family of two adults and two children paid $90 for the 2026 combo. The TTC options listed are the 29 Dufferin bus, the 511 Bathurst streetcar and the 509 Harbourfront streetcar from Union Station.
| Option | Cost | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| GO Transit to Exhibition GO Station | GO fare, or the fair's combo pass | Trains roughly every 30 minutes on Lakeshore West | Daytime visitors who want to skip parking |
| TTC bus or streetcar | Standard TTC fare | 509, 511 and 29 routes serve the grounds | Visitors staying near a TTC line |
| Drive and park | $18 a day, $15 after 6 p.m. in 2026 | Parking not guaranteed | Visitors with a car and one driver |
| Private car from LimousineCanada.ca | $145–$175 sedan, $180–$220 SUV from Pearson (27 km) | About 30 minutes without traffic | Black-tie nights, families, late arrivals, groups |
The honest answer: for a lone daytime visitor, GO or the TTC is the best value. A car earns its fare for evening events and for anyone carrying children or coats.
Combining the Royal with the rest of Toronto
The same grounds host the late-summer fair, which our CNE guide covers. If you are extending the trip, the Toronto luxury weekend guide offers an itinerary, Casa Loma is a good daytime stop, and the Christmas markets guide looks ahead to the holiday season. The Pride Toronto guide shows how a car handles another closure-heavy weekend.
Booking and the cancellation policy
Book on the online booker and tell us the date, the building and the time your event ends. We will propose a pickup corner that avoids the main crowd.
The cancellation policy is measured from the scheduled pickup. There is no charge when you cancel with more than 72 hours' notice. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or on a no-show, it is the full 100%.
