A Deerhurst Resort limo is the simplest way to cover the 228 kilometres between Toronto Pearson and the shore of Peninsula Lake without driving them yourself. This page is an arrival guide written for guests who have already chosen the resort at 1235 Deerhurst Drive, Huntsville, and now need to decide how to get there with luggage, golf clubs, children or a wedding party in tow. LimousineCanada.ca is an independent chauffeur service. We have no affiliation with Deerhurst Resort, and everything here about the property comes from the resort's own website or from the road itself.
How much is a limo from Toronto to Deerhurst Resort?
From Toronto Pearson, a Deerhurst Resort transfer covers about 228 km in roughly 2 h 45 min to 3 h 15 min. An Executive Sedan is about $1,060–$1,265, a Luxury SUV $1,335–$1,605 and an Executive Sprinter $1,880–$2,255, each way, before tax and any tolls. Enter your address in the booker for the all-in total.
Those figures come straight from the per-kilometre rates: 228 km at $4.65–$5.55 for the sedan, $5.85–$7.05 for the SUV and $8.25–$9.90 for the Sprinter, rounded to the nearest $5. Because the distance is long, the minimum transfer never applies. A trip from downtown Toronto or from Billy Bishop lands within a few dollars of the Pearson price, since the drive north joins the same highways within the Greater Toronto Area.
The resort itself describes its location as about two hours north of Toronto. That is a fair description for a driver who leaves the north end of the city on a quiet morning. From Pearson, which sits at the western edge of the city, plan on the longer window quoted above, and add time on a Friday afternoon in July when the whole region heads for cottage country.
Deerhurst Resort limo from Toronto Pearson, step by step
The resort's own directions are short: north on Highway 400, onto Highway 11 North, then the Highway 60 East exit, after which the resort is about five minutes away via Canal Road and Deerhurst Drive. Your chauffeur follows exactly that corridor. The only decision that changes from trip to trip is how to get from the airport to the 400, and that depends on traffic and on whether the 407 ETR is worth its toll that day. Tolls are billed at cost on top of the fare, and the booker flags them when they are likely.

On an arrival, your chauffeur tracks the flight and waits at the pre-arranged pickup point. International arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, domestic arrivals 30 minutes, which covers customs and a slow baggage belt. If you want a name board held inside the arrivals hall, that is a $100–$150 add-on at booking. Highway 11 has a few places where a stop is easy, and a rest break for children or a coffee run is a courtesy that costs nothing extra on a transfer; mention it when you book.
Travelling from Toronto Pearson is the common case, but the same driver can collect you from Billy Bishop or a downtown hotel, and the Mississauga side of the airport is covered on our Mississauga limo page.
Where the car stops at Deerhurst
Deerhurst is a resort made of several buildings, so the first question for your chauffeur is which one you are staying in. The resort's room pages describe six groupings: Lakeside Lodge, which it calls the newest and nearest the waterfront; the Pavilion Rooms in the main Pavilion; Bayshore Rooms right at the beach; Summit Lodge one-bedroom homes; The Greens resort homes near the Pavilion; and Hillside Resort homes in the wooded area. Give the building name when you book, and the car goes to the right entrance rather than the wrong end of the property.
Check-in at the resort starts at 4 pm and check-out is by 11 am. If you arrive earlier than that, luggage can wait while you eat or play golf, and your chauffeur can return later if you have booked an hourly block. For arrivals at the Pavilion the resort runs a seasonal curbside check-in, which works by text message with your confirmation number and parking spot number. The days it operates change through the season, with daily service in the height of summer and weekends or peak days in late spring and early autumn, so read the current schedule on the resort's rooms page before you travel.
Stairs matter more than most guests expect. The resort says that its elevators serve the Pavilion, Bayshore and Lakeside Lodge, while the Summit Lodges, The Greens and Hillside homes are stairs only. If you are staying in one of the stairs-only homes with heavy cases or a pram, tell us at booking so your chauffeur can help carry and so we can choose a vehicle that fits the driveway.
Fares to Deerhurst Resort and around Muskoka

Fares are before tax and tolls, with gratuity at your discretion. The Muskoka Airport row assumes a one-way transfer to the airport at Gravenhurst. A round trip is simply two legs, and for a weekend stay it is usually cheaper to book both together so that the same fleet is allocated.
Hourly and group rates for a Muskoka stay
Many Deerhurst guests do not need one transfer, they need a vehicle on call. A golf outing, a dinner in Bracebridge or a lake-district tour fits an hourly booking better than a string of one-way fares.
| Booking | Vehicle | Rate per hour | Minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Couple dining out in Huntsville | Executive Sedan | $135–$165 /hr | 2 hr |
| Family of five on a lake tour | Luxury SUV | $175–$210 /hr | 2 hr |
| Eight golfers between courses | Executive Sprinter | $240–$295 /hr | 3 hr |
| Wedding party of nine | Stretch limousine | $225–$300 /hr | 3 hr |
| Reunion or conference of 25 | Mini-coach / party bus | $300–$420 /hr | 4 hr |
An Executive Sprinter seats 12 to 14 and carries 12 or more large bags, which is why it suits golf groups and extended families. See the fleet page for what each vehicle carries, and the limo rates page for the full card.
Getting to Deerhurst Resort: limo, rental car, coach or air
Honest comparison matters here, because the cheapest option and the best option are not always the same. The table is a plain look at each way of reaching the resort.

| Choice | Cost | Time from Pearson | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private car (LimousineCanada.ca) | $1,060–$1,265 sedan, $1,880–$2,255 Sprinter | About 2 h 45 min–3 h 15 min | Door to door, luggage, groups, no parking worries |
| Rental car | Rental fee, fuel and insurance | About 2 h 45 min–3 h 15 min | Two travellers who want a car all week; the resort fee includes parking |
| Intercity coach plus taxi | Coach fare plus a local taxi | Varies with schedule | Solo travellers on a tight budget; Huntsville town is 8 km from the resort |
| Fly to Muskoka Airport plus ground | Depends on flight or charter | Short flight, then about 50 min by road | Charter and general aviation arrivals; check current scheduled service |
| Rideshare | Priced by the app at the time | About 2 h 45 min–3 h 15 min | Rarely suitable, since a return from the resort cannot be guaranteed |
If you are travelling alone and plan to stay on the property, a rental car is almost always the cheaper choice, and the resort's nightly fee covers parking. A private car wins when three or more people share the cost, when you have golf bags and a week of luggage, or when you do not want to drive after a long flight. Split a Sprinter among twelve golfers and the fare works out to roughly $155–$190 each way per person, which is competitive with fuel and rentals once you count the second vehicle you would otherwise need.
For the full case against hailing an app at the airport, read our note on chauffeur versus rideshare.
Muskoka Airport and flying options
Muskoka Airport sits near Gravenhurst, about 53 km and 50 minutes by road from the resort. Older resort material described seasonal Porter flights from Billy Bishop with a shuttle to the property, but that schedule dated from 2022 and should not be relied upon today. Treat the airport as a general aviation and charter arrival point unless a carrier confirms current scheduled service. A chauffeur can be waiting on the ramp for a charter arrival at the same published rates, which makes this an easy option for guests who fly private. For larger aircraft or jets, the nearest of our private aviation pages will point you to the right terminal.
What Deerhurst Resort is known for
The resort sits on Peninsula Lake and operates year-round. It lists two championship golf courses, Deerhurst Highlands and Deerhurst Lakeside, with golf running from May to October according to its activities page. It also has a spa, indoor recreation, a children's programme and several places to eat, including Drift Kitchen + Bar, Maple Pub & Patio, Compass Grill & Lounge and Row & Roast Coffee Co. In spring and summer it promotes lake swimming, boating, treetop trekking and ATV riding, and in winter skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skating. It also positions itself as a conference and meeting destination, which is why you will often see corporate groups on the same transfer as families.

Weddings, reunions and corporate retreats at Deerhurst
The resort hosts weddings in all four seasons, and its weddings page lists packages, accommodation and a banquet menu, with a wedding team to coordinate. A wedding at a resort this size means two transport problems: moving guests from Toronto or the airport in the days before, and moving the wedding party between photo locations on the day. We handle both. A stretch limousine seats 8 to 10, a Sprinter seats 12 to 14, and a mini-coach seats 20 to 30, so most guest lists can be covered with two or three vehicles. If you are planning a larger event, read our wedding limo and corporate car service pages, then add the resort address to your booking.
Winter driving on Highways 11 and 60
Winter is a real season here, not a footnote. The route runs north from the Greater Toronto Area into snowbelt country, where conditions can change between Barrie and Huntsville in the space of an hour. Your chauffeur will adjust the departure time when a storm is forecast. If you are travelling for skiing, snowmobiling or skating, tell us the night before and we will reconfirm timing. Building in a buffer for the return leg to the airport is the single best thing a winter guest can do; a missed flight costs far more than an earlier pickup.
Fall colour and holiday weekends
The resort's own activity pages call out autumn, and its listings have included Thanksgiving programming and a November Uncorked weekend. Those are the busiest weekends for transfers, and also the weekends when Highway 11 is slowest. For a long weekend, book early and travel off peak where you can; our guide to Thanksgiving weekend travel explains the airport and highway rush, and the Algonquin Park guide covers a colour drive east along Highway 60.
Day trips by private car from Deerhurst
Because the car stays with you on an hourly booking, a day trip is simply a different route. Bracebridge is about 45 km away, Port Carling about 55 km, and the Highway 60 corridor into Algonquin Park about the same. The resort also lists Arrowhead Provincial Park for skating and Algonquin for autumn colour as a short drive. Read the Muskoka cottage country guide for stops, and if you want a different kind of stay compare Deerhurst with JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa, which is about 56 km and 55 minutes away. Our hotels and resorts hub lists every property we serve.
Golf groups and luggage planning
Golf bags change the vehicle you need. An Executive Sedan carries two large bags and two carry-ons, which is not enough for a foursome. A Luxury SUV takes five or six large bags, which suits a couple or a small family. For a group of eight golfers, the Executive Sprinter is the practical choice because it carries twelve or more bags. Tell us the number of players and bags and we will recommend the vehicle. Children travelling with you can have child seats at no charge if you ask when booking.
What is included in your booking
Every transfer includes flight tracking. Free waiting after landing is 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones. Meet and greet inside the arrivals hall is an optional add-on, and child seats are free on request. Cancellation is simple: more than 72 hours' notice has no charge, 72 hours or less is 10%, 48 hours or less is 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time.
