What is the easiest way to get a limo to the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto?

Reserve a named chauffeur on LimousineCanada.ca for a fixed time, then give the address 60 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto M4W 0A4. From Pearson expect about 35 km and 30 to 45 minutes, with an Executive Sedan priced at $165–$195 before tax.

A Four Seasons Toronto limo is mostly a question of choosing the right door at the right moment. Yorkville is a compact neighbourhood of one-way streets, restaurant patios and shopping lanes, and a car that arrives at the wrong corner can lose ten minutes in a block. The notes below are written for guests who want to land, be met and be at the front of the hotel without thinking about it.

We are an independent chauffeur company. We have no affiliation with Four Seasons and do not claim any, and the hotel is named here only so that your pickup or drop-off address is clear. Everything we say about the property is drawn from its own published material.

The address and how to set your destination

The hotel is at 60 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 0A4, in the Yorkville district a short walk north of Bloor Street. Enter the hotel's name and that street address when you book, and add the name on the reservation in the notes field. The price shown in the booker is the all-in fare for that precise address.

Before you travel, ask the concierge which side of the building they prefer arriving cars to use. We do not guess at hotel entrances, and a two-minute question to the front desk beats a driver circling the block. The hotel's materials mention valet service for visitors to d|bar, so staff are used to managing arriving cars, and our chauffeurs follow their direction at drop-off.

Four Seasons Toronto limo from Pearson (YYZ)

The hotel's directions page puts Pearson at 35 km and a 30 to 45 minute drive by car, and says taxis and limousines are available outside the arrivals terminals. For comparison, the Ritz-Carlton publishes 28 km from Pearson to Wellington Street West, so Yorkville is the longer of the two hotel runs.

At 35 km the per-kilometre arithmetic applies to the sedan and SUV and the Sprinter falls back to its minimum:

VehiclePearson to Yorkville (about 35 km)Capacity
Executive Sedan$165–$1953 passengers, 2 large + 2 carry-on
Luxury SUV$205–$2456 passengers, 5–6 large bags
Executive Sprinter$295–$35512–14 passengers, 12+ bags

Prices are in CAD before tax. A 407 ETR toll is extra if you ask for it, and tipping is yours to decide. Flight tracking is included, with 30 minutes of waiting after a domestic landing and 60 minutes after an international one. If you want a chauffeur holding a sign inside the arrivals hall, that is a $100–$150 add-on, and children's seats are free when requested at booking.

For terminal-by-terminal pickup detail see the Toronto Pearson airport limo page, and if you are arriving on a private jet, the Toronto Pearson FBO page explains how we meet you on the ramp side.

From Billy Bishop (YTZ) to Yorkville

The hotel states that Billy Bishop City Airport is 5.95 km away, about 15 minutes by car. The airport is on the island at the foot of Bathurst Street, and the airport's own website lists its address as 2 Eireann Quay. At six kilometres the minimum transfer applies: an Executive Sedan is $145–$175 and a Luxury SUV is $180–$220.

Casa Loma in Toronto
Casa Loma in Toronto

Short fares are where a chauffeur tends to feel expensive per kilometre, so be honest with yourself about the value. If you have two bags and an easy day, a taxi or a rideshare can be cheaper. The car is worth it when the flight lands late, when a car seat is involved, when you want to arrive with a receipt to a corporate address, or when you do not want to depend on a surge price at the end of a long day. Our Billy Bishop airport limo page covers the island pickup in detail.

Union Station to Yorkville

Union Station is the hub for VIA Rail, GO Transit and UP Express. A guest coming in on a VIA train from Ottawa or Montréal arrives at Union and needs only a short downtown run to reach Yorkville; the transfer falls inside the minimum, so a sedan is $145–$175 and an SUV $180–$220. The Union Station Toronto limo page lists the pickup points.

If you are coming from Pearson and want the cheapest sensible route, UP Express to Union is listed at $12.35 for an adult standard fare, with a trip of around 28 minutes according to the service's website. From there the TTC's subway runs to Bloor Street, a short walk from the hotel. That is an excellent option for a solo traveller with one bag. It is a poor one for a couple with a case each and a long day behind them.

The hotel's directions page says it can arrange a private transfer from the airport, which is a fair choice if you want everything on one folio. Booking direct with us is the alternative when you want to see a transparent range before you commit. Our limo vs rideshare guide goes through the trade-offs without hype.

What the hotel is known for

The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto opened in October 2012, according to its press fact sheet, and offers 259 rooms and suites: 217 guest rooms and 42 suites. Its restaurant, Café Boulud, is led by Daniel Boulud and described as a modern French brasserie with rotisserie dishes, and its lounge, d|bar, serves cocktails and afternoon tea. Both Café Boulud and d|bar welcome non-guests with a reservation.

The spa is the headline amenity. The fact sheet gives it 30,000 square feet and 19 treatment rooms, and the hotel adds an indoor relaxation pool and a fitness centre across two storeys. Non-guests can book spa appointments. The hotel also advertises 24-hour in-room dining and a private dining room at Café Boulud for up to eight guests. Source: the hotel facts page.

Weddings, galas and celebrations

According to the hotel's website, ceremonies and receptions are held in two ballrooms: smaller ceremonies in the Vinci Ballroom and larger celebrations in the Aria Ballroom, with on-site planners and custom packages. The same fact sheet lists 14,300 square feet of meeting space and a largest room of 6,776 square feet with banquet seating for 400.

For couples and families, the transport plan we recommend has three parts. One car for the couple, timed with the photographer. One larger vehicle, such as a Luxury SUV or an Executive Sprinter, for parents and the wedding party. And a late-night return plan for the guests who did not stay at the hotel. Hourly pricing is below, and our wedding limo page explains how we schedule the day.

| Vehicle | Hourly range | Minimum booking | |---|---|---| | Executive Sedan | $135–$165 per hour | 2 hours | | Luxury SUV | $175–$210 per hour | 2 hours | | Executive Sprinter | $240–$295 per hour | 3 hours | | Stretch limousine, 8–10 passengers | $225–$300 per hour | 3 hours | | Mini-coach or party bus, 20–30 passengers | $300–$420 per hour | 4 hours |

A three-hour stretch limousine booking comes to $675 to $900, and a four-hour Luxury SUV block to $700 to $840, both before tax. See the fleet page for seating and luggage.

Yorkville on foot, and when a car helps

Yorkville is a walking neighbourhood. The Bata Shoe Museum is at 327 Bloor Street West, close to St. George station, according to the museum's website, and the shops, galleries and restaurants around the hotel are close enough that most guests never need a car between meals.

A chauffeur earns his fare when you leave the neighbourhood: to the opera or a concert downtown, to Casa Loma, to the waterfront or to an out-of-town engagement. Our Casa Loma and Midtown Toronto guide shows a tidy half-day, and the luxury weekend in Toronto itinerary strings together dinner, galleries and hotel time. For a milestone dinner, see our Valentine's Day chauffeur ideas.

TIFF, the holidays and busy weeks

September brings the film festival, with premieres, motorcades and road closures near the downtown theatres and the hotels that host talent. Allow extra time on any run that crosses the core, and tell us in advance if you need a specific arrival time for a screening. Our TIFF logistics guide lists the common pinch points.

Winter has its own demands. Between Christmas and New Year's Eve, restaurants fill and kerbside space is scarce, so book the pickup for the end of the reservation rather than the start. The New Year's Eve guide explains how we plan late-night rides.

Day trips by private car

An hourly chauffeur is a quiet way to leave the city. Prince Edward County wineries make a long, pleasant day, covered in the Prince Edward County wine guide, and the Stratford Festival season (April to October) rewards a car that waits through the performance. Pick a vehicle by group size: a sedan for two to three, an SUV for up to six, a Sprinter beyond that.

If you want the full range of city services, start with the Toronto limo page.

Choosing the right vehicle for a Yorkville stay

Luggage decides the vehicle more often than passenger count. An Executive Sedan takes three passengers with two large bags and two carry-ons, which suits a couple on a long weekend. Add a third traveller or a golf bag and the Luxury SUV, with six seats and room for five or six large cases, is the safer choice. Families arriving with prams, a skiing party or a film crew with equipment cases usually need the Executive Sprinter, which carries 12 to 14 passengers and 12 or more bags.

Two quick rules help. If you are unsure, go up one size; a vehicle that is too small cannot be corrected on the kerb. And if your party splits across arrival times, book two transfers rather than one long wait, because the free waiting allowance applies to airport arrivals and does not stretch across a long gap.

Evenings out: dinner, theatre and the ride home

Café Boulud takes reservations, and so does the d|bar lounge, which also serves afternoon tea. Guests who leave the building for the evening, whether to a restaurant in the Entertainment District or a performance downtown, are better served by an hourly booking than by two separate transfers. The car waits, you walk out at the interval or the end of dinner, and the same chauffeur takes you home.

On a Friday or Saturday night, ask the venue for its curtain time, add the travel time from Yorkville, and book the first leg so that you arrive 20 to 30 minutes early. A two-hour sedan block at $270 to $330 covers a dinner drop-off, a short wait and a return, while a longer evening is simply another hour at the same hourly rate. Rates exclude tax and tolls.

Bookings, waiting time and changes

Booking is direct, on LimousineCanada.ca. The price you see is the price for your exact pickup and destination, and the confirmation names the vehicle class, the pickup time and what happens if your plan changes.

Counting back from the scheduled pickup, a cancellation made more than 72 hours ahead is free; the fee then rises to 10% inside 72 hours and 50% inside 48 hours, and becomes the full fare inside 24 hours or on a no-show.

Why book direct? The why LimousineCanada.ca page gives the reasons in plain terms. Pick whichever vehicle fits the luggage, not the one that looks best, and use the limo rates page for the full card.
