How do you book a limo to the Ritz-Carlton, Toronto?
Reserve a chauffeur-driven car on LimousineCanada.ca for a set pickup time, enter 181 Wellington Street West as the destination, and the booker returns an exact fare. The run from Pearson is about 28 km, and an Executive Sedan costs $145–$175 before tax.
A Ritz-Carlton Toronto limo booking is a short, clean job when the details are right: the correct terminal, the correct reservation name and a realistic arrival window. This page gathers those details in one place. It is aimed at guests flying into Pearson, connecting through Billy Bishop or arriving by rail, and at people attending a conference or a gala in the hotel's ballroom who want to be dropped at the right door.
LimousineCanada.ca is not affiliated with The Ritz-Carlton or Marriott, and the hotel's name is used only to describe where you are going. The facts below come from the hotel's published pages, and where a figure is ours, we say so.
The address and the surrounding blocks
The hotel is at 181 Wellington Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3G7, in the south-west of the downtown core. Its own website describes it as directly connected to the PATH and to a subway station and lists the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena within walking distance. The Toronto Coach Terminal and Union Station are also listed as nearby transit.

By our own measurement the hotel is about half a kilometre in a straight line from Union Station, about the same from the Fairmont Royal York, and a similar distance from the Shangri-La on University Avenue. In other words, the three big downtown hotels are neighbours, and most transfers between them are short.
Give the chauffeur the hotel name and the street address. If you are meeting someone in the lobby, say which level: the hotel's restaurants are on the lobby and mezzanine levels, so name the level when you arrange to meet someone.
Ritz-Carlton Toronto limo from Pearson (YYZ)
The hotel's own page gives 28.0 km from Toronto Pearson International Airport and states that it does not provide shuttle service. That makes a private car, a taxi, a rideshare or the train the realistic choices. The drive typically takes 30 to 45 minutes outside rush hour, longer on a weekday afternoon.
Because 28 km produces a per-kilometre amount below the minimum, the minimum transfer sets the price:
| Vehicle | Pearson to 181 Wellington St W (about 28 km) | Seats / bags |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | $145–$175 | 3 pax, 2 large + 2 carry-on |
| Luxury SUV | $180–$220 | 6 pax, 5–6 large bags |
| Executive Sprinter | $295–$355 | 12–14 pax, 12+ bags |
All figures are CAD before tax. The 407 ETR and other tolls, if used, are extra, and gratuity is at your discretion. Flight tracking is included in the fare. We allow 30 minutes of free wait after a domestic landing and 60 minutes after an international one, and the final price for your exact terminal and address is shown in the booker.
An optional arrivals-hall meet-and-greet with a name board is $100–$150. Child seats cost nothing when requested at booking. For the airport side of the trip, our Toronto Pearson airport limo page explains terminals and pickup points, and the Toronto airport limo page gives an overview.
Private aircraft and the Billy Bishop alternative
Guests flying privately into Pearson use the business-aviation side of the airport. We cover that in the Toronto Pearson FBO guide, including how a car meets the aircraft. The price on that run is calculated the same way as above, and the booker shows the exact figure.

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, at 2 Eireann Quay on the island, is much closer to the hotel. The airport's website lists a pedestrian tunnel, public transit, a shuttle and pick-up and drop-off among its ground options. The run to the hotel is short, so it is priced at the minimum: $145–$175 for a sedan and $180–$220 for an SUV. Read our Billy Bishop airport limo page for the island curbs.
How do the alternatives compare?
| Option | Cost | Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union Station | $12.35 adult standard fare | About 28 minutes, then roughly half a kilometre on foot or through the PATH | The best value for a solo traveller with light bags |
| TTC subway | One adult TTC fare | Depends on the starting point | The hotel describes a connection to a subway station |
| Taxi | Metered or zone fare, no advance quote | 30–45 minutes from Pearson | Fine for unplanned arrivals |
| Rideshare | Dynamic fare that moves with demand | 30–45 minutes plus pickup wait | Cheapest when demand is low, dearer at peaks |
| Hotel shuttle | None; the hotel says it does not provide shuttle service | n/a | Plan on one of the other options |
| Pre-booked private car | $145–$175 sedan, $180–$220 SUV, $295–$355 Sprinter | 30–45 minutes | Fixed time, driver waiting, receipts for expenses |
If you are alone and your bags fit on a luggage rack, the UP Express is the cheaper and often faster option, because the train avoids road congestion altogether. A private car is the better choice when you arrive at night, travel with colleagues, carry luggage or equipment, or want a firm commitment rather than a pickup queue. See our short limo vs rideshare comparison for more.
Rooms, restaurants and the spa
The hotel's website lists 263 guest rooms, including 56 one-bedroom corner suites, four Simcoe Suites, two Wellington Suites and one Ritz-Carlton Suite. Its restaurants include TOCA, an Italian restaurant on the mezzanine level; EPOCH Bar + Kitchen Terrace on the lobby level; and LANO, a café and wine bar. In-room dining covers breakfast, all-day meals and late-night snacks.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa is temporarily closed for renovation, according to the hotel, with the pool and fitness centre remaining open and a reopening expected in late February 2027. If a spa day is part of your trip, check the status before travelling. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 12:00 p.m.
Valet, vehicle height and self-drive guests
For guests who arrive in their own vehicle, the hotel advertises on-site valet parking at $75 a day, for vehicles lower than 2.1 m (6 ft 10 in), with larger vehicles directed to park off-site. An electric-vehicle charging point is available subject to availability.
Most chauffeur-driven vehicles do not park at the hotel at all; they set down and move on. The numbers still matter if you are comparing the cost of a night in the valet against a round-trip transfer. A weekend with two nights of valet at $75 costs $150 before tax, and an airport round trip by sedan is $290 to $350, with no fuel, rental or navigation to worry about.
Ballroom events, conferences and receptions
The hotel lists seven event rooms, nine breakout rooms and 20,251 square feet of event space. The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, at 7,400 square feet, seats up to 420 at banquet tables and holds 750 theatre-style, and it divides into four salons. The Grand Foyer is listed for receptions of 331, the Wellington Room for banquets of 200 and the Gallery Room for banquets of 80.

On event nights, arrivals bunch up. If you are a speaker, a bride or a host, ask your planner for the arrival window and book the car to match it. A chauffeur can drop at the curb, then wait for the next leg. For a wedding, ask about a second vehicle for the family; our wedding limo page lays out a sensible schedule. Hourly rates:
| Vehicle | Hourly range | Minimum | |---|---|---| | Executive Sedan | $135–$165 per hour | 2 hours | | Luxury SUV | $175–$210 per hour | 2 hours | | Executive Sprinter | $240–$295 per hour | 3 hours | | Stretch limousine | $225–$300 per hour | 3 hours | | Mini-coach / party bus | $300–$420 per hour | 4 hours |
For a gala, many hosts price a stretch limousine for three hours ($675 to $900) and a Sprinter for the guests who are travelling from hotels elsewhere in the city. See the fleet page for the vehicles.
Game nights, concerts and the arena district
Scotiabank Arena is among the hotel's listed walking-distance neighbours. On a hockey playoff night the streets around the arena fill with fans and the shortest taxi ride can take forty minutes. For that reason a pre-booked pickup a few blocks from the arena, set up for after the game, usually beats trying to hail a car on Bay Street. Our NHL playoff nights guide explains arrival and exit logistics.
The same advice holds for the Canadian National Exhibition in late August, which is covered in our CNE guide, and for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November, covered in the winter fair guide. Boxing Day shopping is another heavy day; see our Boxing Day shopping notes for an hourly shopping chauffeur.
Day trips and onward travel
From Wellington Street the main highways are close, so day trips leave quickly. Stratford, with its festival season from April to October, is the classic evening run; see the Stratford Festival guide. Niagara-on-the-Lake works well for a wine afternoon, and the Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries page sets out a plan.
For longer jobs such as a company roadshow, a film shoot or a family weekend, the hourly rates above or a mini-coach are more economical than separate cars. Ask the booker or read the limo rates page for the full card.
Winter arrivals and flight delays
Winter in Toronto means freezing rain, blowing snow and delayed aircraft. We track the flight, so a late arrival does not lose the pickup, and your included wait begins from the actual landing time. If the airport cancels the flight, notify us before the pickup window and we can rebook.
Allow 15 to 30 minutes of extra margin in winter conditions on the Gardiner and the 427, and tell the chauffeur if you have a connecting meeting. The events page shows closures for parades and festivals that affect the downtown core.
Corporate travellers: early flights, receipts and the 6 a.m. problem
Most weekday traffic through this hotel is business travel. The usual pain points are an early departure when the lobby is quiet and nobody has checked the road, a late return after a dinner that ran over, and the receipt that finance wants by the end of the week. A fixed-time booking solves the first two, and an emailed receipt handles the third.
For a 6 a.m. domestic departure, work backwards from the flight. As a planning rule of our own, we usually set the pickup between 3 hours and 3 hours 30 minutes before a domestic departure. That leaves room for a 30 to 45 minute drive, bag drop and security. Tell the booker your terminal if you know it, or your airline and we will confirm. The hotel's own check-out time of noon does not affect an early departure; settle your folio the night before to avoid a queue.
If two colleagues travel together, an Executive Sedan holds three passengers with two large bags and two carry-ons, which is tight for a team with laptops and sample cases. Move up to the Luxury SUV rather than splitting across cars; the extra $35 to $45 at the minimum is cheaper than a second vehicle. Our airport limo service page lists the airports we serve if your trip continues beyond Toronto.
Dining at the hotel and the ride afterwards
The hotel lists TOCA for Italian dining, EPOCH for a gastro-bar menu with a terrace and LANO for coffee and wine, plus in-room dining at any hour. Guests who book a dinner at TOCA are rarely in a hurry to leave, so we suggest a pickup time that follows the reservation by at least ninety minutes, and a text from the concierge when the table is finishing.
Outside the building, the Entertainment District is a few minutes away and the Roy Thomson Hall and theatre district are close. A theatre evening works well on an hourly sedan or SUV: the car drops you at the entrance, waits nearby and returns when the curtain falls. Hourly sedans start at $270 for two hours.
Booking terms in plain language
The booker shows the exact all-in fare for your pickup and drop-off. Gratuity is at your discretion and tolls are extra.

- More than 72 hours' notice: no charge
- 72 hours or less: 10%
- 48 hours or less: 50%
- 24 hours or less, or a no-show: 100%
